DJ Prep

Privacy Policy

This page explains how the website handles files, analytics, and basic usage data in the current browser-first release.

Overview

DJ Prep is designed to let visitors work with their own music metadata and preparation notes directly in the browser. In the current release, imported track files stay on the visitor's device unless a future feature explicitly states otherwise.

Basic site analytics may be used to understand page visits, feature usage patterns, and overall site health. These measurements help improve clarity, stability, and product positioning.

Files and track data

When a visitor uploads audio files or imports Rekordbox XML in the current browser-based experience, the processing is intended to occur locally inside the browser session. Track metadata entered by the visitor is used to power editing and export actions during that session.

Visitors should avoid uploading music or metadata they are not authorized to manage. The website is a preparation utility and does not grant rights to use copyrighted material.

Analytics and advertising

The site may use privacy-conscious analytics to measure visits and core interactions. If advertising is enabled in a future approved monetized version, ad providers may use their own technologies subject to their policies and the visitor's local browser settings.

During the launch and review period, advertising may remain disabled while verification and approval steps are completed.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated as the product evolves, particularly if server-side processing, accounts, or live advertising features are introduced. Material changes should be reflected on this page.
